Zollinger Gift of Reading Book Drive

Throughout the month of November, Zollinger Library will be collecting donations of books for the community. Donate new or gently used books at one of our collection boxes around campus. Book donations will be gifted to the community at the ºÚË¿ÄÚÉäÊÓƵ-G Holiday in New Mexico event. For questions please call 505-863-7531 or email markos@unm.edu.

Native American Studies Dedication

On Wednesday, November 2nd at 10:00 a.m. he public is invited to join Zollinger Library for the official dedication and blessing of our new Native American Studies section in the library. This newly organized section of the library was made to honor and respect Native American history and culture, which is important to the college and to this community. It's Super! It’s Fantastic! It’s an Array of Native American Comic Books!

On Wednesday, November 9th at 5:00 p.m. Zollinger Library will host a presentation by Dr. Tracy Lassiter. Dr. Lassiter introduces a range of Native American comic book titles, characters, creators, and illustrators who are appropriate for readers of all ages. Although many writers create new characters or superheroes, others draw upon traditional narratives or figures to ensure these stories are not lost. Zollinger Pokémon Go Night

Join Zollinger Library on Tuesday, November 15th at 5:00 p.m. for our monthly gathering of trainers. All Pokémon Go players are welcome. Navajo Language Basics

On Wednesday, November 16th at 3:30 p.m. Zollinger Library will host a lecture on Navajo Language. Join Dr. Joe Kee and Dr. Carolene Whitman for this special presentation to honor Native American Heritage Month as they go over the basics of the language. November Films: Celebrating Native Americans

Join Zollinger Library for our November Film Series every Thursday at 4:00 p.m.This month we are celebrating Native American Heritage Month by showing Native films.
